Experience
Shaun practises in commercial and common law litigation, and in administrative law.
Before coming to the Bar, Shaun was a solicitor in the dispute resolution group at Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He acted for corporate clients in commercial litigation in various jurisdictions and advised governmental clients in relation to statutory interpretation, freedom of information, document retention and the rules of natural justice.
For two years, Shaun was the senior associate to the Honourable Justice Kyrou of the Supreme Court of Victoria. During that time, his Honour sat in the Common Law Division and was one of the Judges-in-Charge of the Judicial Review and Appeals List. His Honour also sat on the Court of Appeal and the Practice Court.
Shaun holds honours degrees in law and science from The University of Melbourne. He was a research assistant at the Melbourne Law School, and a case note editor and an assistant editor of the Melbourne University Law Review.
