He is recognised for his versatility and his practice covers a wide range of areas.

Patrick graduated with LLB (Hons) and BA. Further studies include a Grad. Dip. Labour Relations Law and a Grad. Dip. Applied Law. Patrick completed articles at Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper Australia), was a Senior Associate at Maddocks and acted as Associate to Ryan J of the Federal Court of Australia in 1996.
