Kalia has a broad practice that includes commercial law, public law and common law.
Kalia was an Associate to the Hon Justice Gleeson of the High Court of Australia and the Hon Justice Elliott of the Supreme Court of Victoria before coming to the Bar. Previously, Kalia was a solicitor in commercial litigation at Allens.
Kalia holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford, for which she was awarded a full scholarship. She graduated second in her cohort from the Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne.
