Cal practises in public law and commercial law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Cal held the role of Deputy General Counsel to the Premier of Victoria. He has experience in public law, inquiries and royal commissions, and commercial disputes (in particular, disputes that intersect with government).
Cal previously served in legal policy and constitutional recognition taskforce advisory roles at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, after completing an LLM (Public Law) at the London School of Economics & Political Science as a Chevening Scholar.
Cal also practiced as a lawyer in commercial and insurance litigation at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers.
