Rachel practices in all areas of common law and general commercial law.

In particular, Rachel accepts briefs to appear, advise and draft paperwork in tortious claims in all jurisdictions.

Rachel is also experienced in representing clients in the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in all aspects of family law litigation.

Before coming to the Bar, Rachel was the senior associate to the Honourable Justice Zammit at the Supreme Court of Victoria.

As the senior associate, Rachel sat with her Honour in the Common Law Division. She gained a wealth of experience in complex cause and jury matters in common law damages trials, and assisted her Honour in the personal injury, dust diseases, judicial reviews and appeals and testators family maintenance lists. Rachel also has experience in the conduct of urgent applications in the Practice Court.

Prior to working as an associate, Rachel worked as a solicitor in the family law and commercial litigation and insolvency teams at a national firm.

Rachel is reading with Dugald McWilliams and her senior mentor is Ross Gillies QC.
