Matthew Hooper practices in a wide range of civil litigation, at both trial and appellate level. His areas of practice include personal injury, professional negligence, consumer law and contract claims and class actions. He also practices in administrative law, with a focus upon judicial review proceedings.

Matthew was Associate to Justice Gummow of the High Court of Australia in 2010. He graduated with First Class Honours and the John F Kearney QC Gold Medal in Law at Bond University.
Matthew is also a reporter for the Australian Law Reports. He read with Daniel J Crennan QC and his senior mentor was Dr Stephen Donaghue SC, Solicitor-General of the Commonwealth.
