    Roxanne practises predominantly in commercial litigation.She has a broad practice including general commercial and corporate law, administrative law, regulatory law and inquiries.

    Roxanne has appeared in the Federal Court, the Supreme Court, the County Court, the Magistrates' Court and the VCAT.

    Before coming to the Bar, Roxanne was a Senior Associate at Holding Redlich (2011-2017).

    Representative matters include:

    Commercial law

    • acting for plaintiff entities in a commercial property dispute (ongoing, led by John Karkar QC and Emma Peppler)
    • acting for a group of hotels in a case concerning allegations of forgery and the misappropriation of funds (ongoing, led by Robert Craig)
    • acting for a trustee in a claim for damages for breach of contract and misleading or deceptive conduct (led by Jonathon Moore QC)

    Regulatory/administrative law

    • acting for NAB in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry (on a team led by Wendy Harris QC)
    • acting for the Roads Corporation in a compensation claim under the Planning and Environment Act (ongoing, led by Sandro Goubran.See for example Plunkett v Roads Corporation [2019] VSC 39)
    • acting for the Victorian Electoral Commission in a challenge to a state election (led by Simona Gory)

    Roxanne holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of Melbourne where she was awarded a number of academic prizes.
