Viola has established a wide practice since coming to the Bar.
Her background as a Prosecutor and Coroners Assistant for over 9 years has given her the skills and the confidence to be able to adapt; be flexible and look at cases from different angles, compared to most.
Although Viola has significant experience within Criminal law, since coming to the Bar she has established a strong practice within the Common Law area of Personal Injury and Negligence Cases, this includes TAC matters.
Viola appears for both Plaintiffs and Defendants in Statutory Benefits matters, Serious Injury applications and Common law damages matters.
Viola also has experience within the Family law jurisdiction, in particular intervention order matters.
Viola is an accredited mediator.
In addition, Viola is very active outside of work and has an interest in Sports law. Viola enjoys mentoring students and is active with the student mentoring program at the Victorian Bar.
Viola also has experience in Chairing Disciplinary Tribunal Hearings.
Viola is a member of the Pro Bono Committee.
